I am very pleased to welcome you to the new Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Liszt Society at Penn State University. I am also happy to report that this is the very first Chapter of ALS in the State of Pennsylvania and has been approved during the ALS board meeting on 4/7/2010.
Dr. Enrico Elisi and Dr. Timothy Shafer, members of the piano faculty at Penn State University, are serving as its President and Vice-President.

Upcoming event: pianist Enrico Pace celebrates Liszt's 200th anniversary with a recital and a master class for the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Liszt Society. FREE ADMISSION TO ALL EVENTS.
Acclaimed Italian pianist Enrico Pace, winner of the Franz Liszt International Competition in Holland, will give a free recital of virtuosic music by romantic composer Franz Liszt, honoring the bicentennial celebration of Liszt's birth (1811-2011). This is a free event. Don't miss this spectacular event and the unique opportunity to hear one of the great talented pianists of his generation.The program will consist of the First book of the Pilgrimage Years of Liszt and, in the second half, the Sonata in B Minor.
